Wow, how time flies! Now that the off-season is here, we are spending some of our time at Hanksville building the chassis for a chopped '51 Ford, which is being turned into a full landspeed race car for competition at the Bonneville salt flats in the Blown Fuel Competition Coupe class. Although the car is being built specifically for Bonneville, it will also be raced at Bandimere.
Hanksville Hot Rods built over 20 full cages in 2009, and helped many
more customers to update, enhance or recertify their cages. We're still
busy building lots of roll cages and roll bars for race cars, most
recently including a C5 Corvette, Porsche 911, a brand-new Porsche
Cayman S, an SN95 Mustang, and an early Bronco. Next on the list of
roll bar and cage projects is a Nissan GTR, followed by a Porsche Spec
Boxster and a Mustang Cobra. How do we do it?
We are a full-time shop employing experienced fabricators, with a large
investment in programmable tube bending and fabrication equipment .
These capabilities allow us to build great-fitting, race-ready cages at
reasonable prices with terrific customer service and quick turn-around
times. Check out our cage projects pages to see pictures of our recent work.
Thanks to the continued support of our terrific customers, we
