Headers & Header Components: Our headers are designed, prototyped and TIG-welded in-house on our proprietary jigs. All bends are made here at Hanksville using our in-house mandrel bender. All of our production headers utilize 3/8” or 1/2" flanges for greater strength.

4.6L/5.4L SOHC Ford Log-Style Headers. 1.625" primary tubes, 2" main tubes to allow fitment into tight areas around steering boxes. For 2-valve motors. These low-profile headers are designed to fit the '49-'51 Shoebox Fords when used with our Shoebox mod motor mounts. May fit other applications. Will also fit the 5.4L SOHC 2-valve engines. Features include:
  • 3/8" or 1/2" thick header flanges
  • All bends are custom mandrel-bent
  • Fully TIG-welded
  • Main tubes are left long to allow custom fitment to your application
  • Clamps or flanges available separately to fit to your exhaust
  • Available in mild steel or stainless steel

  • 3.5" megaphone ends
  • 3/8" or 1/2" thick header flanges

Flathead Dodge and Plymouth I6 Headers: These headers have been used by customers with coupes, sedans, hot rod roadsters and early Power Wagon trucks.

Flathead Dodge and Plymouth 6-into-2 Headers. These headers fit a variety or early applications. They work with the factory intake manifold as well as all popular aftermarket intakes. Clears the stock oil pump and fuel pump (stock fuel pump requires an "L" connection to route the fuel line down and away from the headers). Features include:
  • 1.625" mandrel-bent primary tubes
  • 2.5" collectors with welded 2.5", 3-bolt collector flanges
  • 3/8" thick header flanges
  • Fully TIG-welded
  • Available in mild steel or stainless steel
