Who is this Hank guy anyway?
I formerly worked as a risk manager and management consultant, spending my weekends and extra time working on various race car, muscle car and Jeep projects. I have always enjoyed fabrication and modifying my cars, and always dreamed of working in a hot rod shop. After leaving the consulting firm, I enrolled at Wyotech where I studied Collision, Refinishing, and Specialty Auto Fabrication. After graduation, my wife Jen and I started Hanksville Hot Rods with the goal of bringing innovative products and services to automotive performance enthusiasts. In addition to Wyotech, my automotive credentials and education include:
SFI / NHRA Bronze-Level Technical Inspector
National Auto Sport Association (NASA) Tech Inspector
Chief of Tech, NASA Rocky Mountain Region
Volunteer tech inspector, Rocky Mountain Region - Porsche Club of America
Volunteer tech inspector, Colorado Region - Sports Car Club of America
NHRA Safety Safari
I-CAR MIG certified
Miller Motorsports TIG class
Basic and Advanced TIG classes from General Air
- Catalytic converter class from Magnaflow/Carsound
- Former crew member for NASCAR late-model teams
Our family races junior dragsters and, whenever I get a chance, I like to take my '00 Mustang GT out to the track. It has a new 150-hp NOSzle wet kit and SCT tuning. Mid-12s!
