| Brian asked us to install a new downpipe/cat pipe and cat-back exhaust for his turbocharged eclipse. We started by mandrel-bending and welding the stainless steel downpipe, adding a stainless steel flex coupler and high-flow catalytic converter. We then bent the cat-back exhaust using stainless steel tube and a Magnaflow muffler. We used stainless steel flanges and a stainless steel band clamp to make the exhaust service-removeable.

| Being an old-time hot rodder, Kay wanted to give his Murano a more muscular sound. While inspecting the Murano's factory exhaust, we noticed that it had an axle-back crossflow design, similar to the late-model Camaro. So, we recommended a single in/dual out crossflow Magnaflow muffler with stainless steel tubes. Kay wanted to retain his factory tips, so we installed them onto the new tailpipe sections. This exhaust really woke-up the V6, giving it a nice rumble at idle and a lower-toned, throaty sound throughout the RPM range.

| Rich is a great friend of Hanksville Hot Rods, as we had built the cage in his drag race CRX earlier in the year. He wanted a stainless steel performance exhaust for his Tiburon, which is raced at Bandimere in the sport compact class. We added a flange behind the cat, routed the stainless steel tube close to the body and over the rear axle, then welded a can-style muffler under the rear bumper. All welds were TIG-welded. Because the exhaust retains the catalytic converter and uses a resonator, it sounds throaty with very little raspiness.

Cheryl and Eric brought her RSX to us for a new exhaust. She drives this car in the sport compact series, and wanted a more performance sound for the car while drag racing. They have been great representatives of Hanksville Hot Rods and help out in our vendor displays. We also built the cage in Eric's Acura Integra drag car, so we were happy to help Cheryl out with her car too.
We custom mandrel-bent and TIG-welded a 2.5" 304 stainless steel cat-back exhaust for this RSX, using a Vibrant polished stainless steel resonator and muffler. The car sounds great, and the resonator controls the raspiness without quieting the exhaust down too much.

Brett is building his RS to
be a great time trial car, with a built turbocharged engine, road race
suspension and rally-inspired bodywork. He asked us to fabricate a
custom 3" stainless steel exhaust and wastegate downpipes.
We started by installing a Vibrant turbo-flex coupler to his
aftermarket downpipe, then welded a metallic high-flow cat behind the
flex coupler. We added a V-band flange assembly after the cat to allow
the cat-back exhaust to be removed separately from the forward section
of the exhaust, to make it more service-removeable if needed at the
track. After the V-band flange, the exhaust tightly follows the contours of
the body, giving the car as much ground clearance as possible. This is
important in a time-attack car, since if the car goes briefly off the
track there is less chance of damage to the exhaust. We added another
V-band flange in front of the muffler.
In addition to the exhaust, we custom-mandrel-bent and TIG-welded two wastegate downpipes exiting under the car.
All of the exhaust tubes are 3" 304 stainless steel, and the exhaust was fully TIG-welded.
